ClearPaste · Legal
Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 17, 2026
This policy is short because there's almost nothing to disclose. ClearPaste is a browser-based tool: your text is processed locally, on your device, and never leaves it.
What we collect
Nothing that can be tied to you. ClearPaste has no accounts, no sign-up, and no forms. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personal data.
Your text
Text you paste into the cleaner is processed by JavaScript running in your browser tab. It is not sent to our servers, not stored, not logged, and not used for training. Closing the tab clears it completely. The same is true for the embedded cleaner on every page of this site.
Cookies and analytics
The tool itself uses no cookies and no analytics. The site is a static page served from a CDN; standard server access logs may record technical data like IP address, user agent and request time — this is routine web infrastructure, not tracking.
Advertising
The site may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits. You can learn how Google uses data and manage your options at Google's partner-site page. Ad-serving cookies are unrelated to the text you paste — that text never leaves your device.
Third-party links
Some pages link to external sites. This policy applies only to useclearpaste.com; we are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites.
Changes
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Because we collect nothing, there is nothing to migrate, sell or delete.
